Off-White Becomes AC Milan's Official Style and Culture Creator!
Off-White AC Milan Collab
Since early August, there has been a whole host of rumors surrounding a potential partnership between Football legends AC Milan and cultural powerhouse Off-White, and it seems they are ready to make their partnership public. Off-white will become style and culture creator to the AC Milan brand in the biggest football x fashion crossover since PSG x Jordan.
This revelation may not come as a surprise to some as the Football and Streetwear industries have been growing closer and closer in the last few years. In the last few years alone we have seen collaborations from the likes of Palace x Juventus, Daily Paper x Ajax, and Jordan x PSG.
Fashion and Football have always had quite a close relationship, in the 1990s and early 2000's Football was all about terrace fashion with brands such as Adidas, Stone Island, and CP Company. Now it seems that the world of football may be making a switch to a more streetwear-based fashion.
Yesterday AC Milan took to Instagram to flaunt the first of the Off-White designed pieces. Ahead of its Champions League clash with Chelsea this evening, AC Milan stars donned a crisp white varsity jacket complete with an array of collegiate-themed embroidered patches.
We still aren't aware of whether or not these pieces will be available to the public but we sure hope they will be, and we also hope they have more designs in the pipeline ready to drop.
